Just to let you know: I'm an absolute sap, but I like dark things too. You know what? Totally open to whatever you want to write! F/F, M/M, M/F or gen~ My suggestions, as Yuletide say, are optional! My only dislike is out-of-characterness (but who really likes that?)

Gentleman Bastards Sequence - Scott Lynch

I'd be happy to see any of the Gentleman Bastards, though what I'd most love to see is some of the past between Nazca and Locke - there's obviously a fair amount but we never hear any of it! I love seeing Camorr-era interactions between all the characters, and every year that's what I see on Yuletide if someone writes for the series. I'd always welcome more but one itch that's never been scratched for me is Nazca - I really loved her and her fate was the moment I realised I would be into this books for the long haul! I love re-reading the scenes between Nazca and Locke - not love, but something like it. :)

Leviathan series - Scott Westerfeld

I'd most like to see something with Deryn and Alek. Maybe Alek finding out about Deryn's secret and the repercussions of that? Alek's shown with the second book that he has quite a standard opinion of women for the time period, but Lilit appears to have gotten the gears working in his mind about that, so maybe it would be alright? That and the social class issues really interest me in terms of pairing the two. Of course, I love their friendship too and would be happy to see a fic with just that. I love when they interact, full-stop :D And I just want to see how someone else would deal with the reveal - how will it happen? What will happen after?

Also, I'm rather fond of Dr Barlow and Volger. Volger especially; he's a complex character with both selfish and selfless motivations and sometimes, I despair along with him that his neatly-devised plans never quite work out because his charge is young and a bit impetuous!

Ergo Proxy

The series ended on a cliffhanger, if you ask me. Who was in those helicopters? What will Pino, Re-l and Vincent do now? In fact, what is Vincent like now? So plot would be most welcome. But also, one of my favourite episodes in the series was the one where they were stranded and everyday life made up the entire episode. You so rarely see that in anime - Re-l actually putting on her make-up?! Whatever next? So I'd also welcome that - I love these three very much, so just their interaction would be lovely too!

Nightmare Before Christmas

This was my favourite film for a long time. I find the mix of creepy-sweetness really endearing and I'd just love to see more Sally and Jack interaction, set after the film. I know that's a little unspecific and therefore unhelpful, but it is what it is - I'm incredibly easy to please here. Write that fic you always wanted to write and pretend you just thought of it for me <3

(On a slightly unrelated note, I wish I'd thought to request The Pillowman as a fandom this year. Drat! Though I've no idea what fandom I'd replace here!)
