“Chousokabe’s gotten so big!” Yukiko smiles, fussing playfully with the dog’s ears. Chie scrunches her nose.

“We agreed years ago; he’s Muku. Chou—“ Chie trails off, still not able to remember it after years.

“Chousokabe.”

“Yeah, that name. It’s so much effort! And besides, ‘Muku’ is a cute name, right?” Chie pats her dog (their dog) and stares hard at him. “Right, boy?”

The dog cocks his head to one side with a questioning whine.

“Traitor!” Chie mirrors him and pouts. Yukiko looks between them and snorts.

“S-so alike!” she laughs. Chie flops to the floor with a groan.
